Extended Studies

Melbourne Site

The Melbourne site is a unique University College location, since it is located on main-campus and offers one degree program: the Master of Science in Computer Information Systems. For more information about the M.S. in computer information systems degree visit the Web site.

Classes are offered in the evenings on Florida Tech's main campus allowing working professionals the opportunity to maintain professional competence while earning a graduate degree. Distance learning courses are offered through the Virtual Campus to extend the opportunity to pursue graduate studies to individuals and groups who are unable to access traditional resident-based graduate programs.

The CIS program is available to all who meet the admission requirements of the university. International students are also welcome and can attend the Melbourne site or the Virtual Campus.

This graduate degree program may be completed in two years or less. However, students complete the program at their own pace. The majority of students generally enroll for one course per semester, but students can enroll for two or more courses when their schedules permit.

The instructors at the Melbourne site are working professionals with hands-on experience in the discipline in which they teach. All of the instructors have a terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent).

The CIS classrooms and administrative offices are conveniently located in the Crawford Science Building (fifth floor) on Florida Tech's main campus in Melbourne. Contact the offices today.
